First snow of the season

We had our fist snowfall on the valley floor overnight so we woke up to about an inch of light powder. I’m writing about the vacation trip less than two weeks ago when it was ninety degrees and now it is snowing.

Quick break from the trip log as I am still uploading pictures so I’ll continue it tomorrow. Tonight I thought I would do one of a couple of “10” lists for the trip.

Top 10 ridicules questions asked on a cruise ship

  1. When the dolphin ice sculptures melt, where do the dolphins go?
  2. Do these stairs go up or down?
  3. What happens when you sit on the toilet while flushing it?
  4. What religion are the people who wear the patch on the back of their ear?
  5. Does the crew live onboard or are they brought on to work everyday?
  6. Where do they keep all of the towels animals on the ship?
  7. How can the cruise director be on the television and around the ship at the same time?
  8. How can they make a 1,150 foot ship go sideways with propellers on the back end?
  9. "What elevation are we at?"
  10. Will this elevator take me to the front of the ship?

Are Showing Your Nipples Appropriate Work Attire?

Let me first say that personally, I have no problem with it at all. This has been kind of a weird week here in the north land with the first of many winter snowfalls’s to come and the landscape once again beautifully covered in the white stuff. It looks like the kids will have to put their Halloween costume on over a snowsuit again this year as the cold snowy stuff is here again. That is not what I wanted to write about tonight but was necessary to set up what I did want to write about. “Frosty nipples” are quite common here during most of the year and when things cool down on the cusp of winter probably more so. Work attire with tight shirts or low cut blouses that ‘make a statement’ during colder weather could be taken several ways by co-workers or visitors to your place of business.
