Thank you kindly for stopping over my blog last night. I have enjoyed the pictures in your blog immensely! How fortunate you are to have so much local coverage of the race. We depended almost solely on the Iditarod website for our info, as there is no coverage in the mainstream media where I'm coming from. Now we find ourselves looking longingly at ALaska on our map.

We do have great coverage of the event and Cabela's films a great show for the OLN on cable tv. It is usually shown several weeks after the actual race so they can edit all of the film footage. Check it out when it comes on.

The sad part of this amazing race this year is that most of the media outside Alaska have not covered anything. This race was so awesome and inspiring for many reasons but Lance Mackey's win of the Iditarod and the Yukon Quest within a month of each other was incredible.

Let me first say that personally, I have no problem with it at all. This has been kind of a weird week here in the north land with the first of many winter snowfalls’s to come and the landscape once again beautifully covered in the white stuff. It looks like the kids will have to put their Halloween costume on over a snowsuit again this year as the cold snowy stuff is here again. That is not what I wanted to write about tonight but was necessary to set up what I did want to write about. “Frosty nipples” are quite common here during most of the year and when things cool down on the cusp of winter probably more so. Work attire with tight shirts or low cut blouses that ‘make a statement’ during colder weather could be taken several ways by co-workers or visitors to your place of business.
