Ozzy Osbourne Perfect Casting

It’s been nice being home the last couple of days enjoying the snowfall and watching some great movies.


88 Minutes had a good story and pace with just enough plot twists to keep everyone guessing up to the end. Al Pacino doesn’t scream too much in this movie either.


Shooter for the fourth time was a fun paced escape.


Today Sci Fi channel had The Stand marathon. Steven King at his best. Good vs. Evil with excellent casting of Ruby Dee as 106 year old Abagail Freemantle. Strong performances by everyone and since seeing this when it fist came out I can never visualize Jamey Sheridan as Randall Flagg, ‘the dark man’ or ‘the walking dude’ in any other role. He played evil to perfection with that wicked grin and as the raven.


Speaking of great casting, I have seen several commercials for the new Samsung phone with perfect casting using the mumbling Ozzy Osbourne using text messaging to make his point known.


I couldn’t stop laughing and thinking, genius, spot on, and keeps your attention.

Let me first say that personally, I have no problem with it at all. This has been kind of a weird week here in the north land with the first of many winter snowfalls’s to come and the landscape once again beautifully covered in the white stuff. It looks like the kids will have to put their Halloween costume on over a snowsuit again this year as the cold snowy stuff is here again. That is not what I wanted to write about tonight but was necessary to set up what I did want to write about. “Frosty nipples” are quite common here during most of the year and when things cool down on the cusp of winter probably more so. Work attire with tight shirts or low cut blouses that ‘make a statement’ during colder weather could be taken several ways by co-workers or visitors to your place of business. Biscuits and Whores

Some of the best things about life I learned from Lonesome Dove. Great movie, excellent characters, and tells a story about how to live life.
