Life Observation # 99

Reality TV proves one thing pretty clearly . . . we love to see other people's misery.


We take pleasure in it.


It's fun for us to see people squirm and interact in sometimes combative ways with each other.


If it were a flavor, people would drink it up.


That's why I think Starbucks should just come out with a brand of coffee that's not trying to help anyone . . . you know . . . coffee. What a concept!


It is hard for me to go into a Starbucks because I sometimes do not know exactly what all that crap is on their menu. There’s double this, latte that, where on their sign board is there just regular coffee?


We are in the in-between time for another season of Survivor or The Amazing Race? I can’t wait to see the personal interactions for a new group of people. Yes, and it seems so strange that they both have been on television so long.


Not much time to write tonight as I return from the hospital but there may be news soon as one of the specialist thinks he has it figured out and tests will confirm in about a week but the new meds should see a positive turn in a couple of days. Keep us in your prayers that this may finally resolve her condition and she can return to being a young mommy again.

Are Showing Your Nipples Appropriate Work Attire?

Let me first say that personally, I have no problem with it at all. This has been kind of a weird week here in the north land with the first of many winter snowfalls’s to come and the landscape once again beautifully covered in the white stuff. It looks like the kids will have to put their Halloween costume on over a snowsuit again this year as the cold snowy stuff is here again. That is not what I wanted to write about tonight but was necessary to set up what I did want to write about. “Frosty nipples” are quite common here during most of the year and when things cool down on the cusp of winter probably more so. Work attire with tight shirts or low cut blouses that ‘make a statement’ during colder weather could be taken several ways by co-workers or visitors to your place of business.
