Cancun 2008 – Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort
Taylor, Brandon, & I awoke early and ate breakfast together at one of the buffets. We leisurely ate looking for any of Scott’s family to show up. Everyone met up in the lobby to take the scheduled tour of the facilities @ 8 am with the staff.

It showed off all of the existing places as well as what was being built or scheduled over the next several years.

Scott & I wanted to check out the golf course so we made sure everyone came out for look with us and then decided to eat lunch in the Golf Course restaurant which turned out to be excellent (best meal so far).
Golf Clubhouse
The course was beautiful and the staff seemed to enjoy everyone coming out to give it a look before we come back in the morning to play.

After lunch we decided to head into Cancun for shopping. There was a big fiasco with more people than one bus could take into town so a 2nd bus was ordered. We were just past the cutoff point for the first bus but once the other one came we were off to see the Beach Palace Resort and shopping nearby. Everyone found something for someone on their shopping list while trying to figure out the correct pesos to dollars, and since we were there had the opportunity for an ‘exploratory tour’ of the Beach Palace. We took the bus back to the hotel for a Mexican night dinner, with the band playing for everyone.

Deb’s “Latin Lover”
A few headed back to the room while most everyone went to the beach bar spending the rest of the night sitting by the ocean listening to the waves and the soft music playing. We stayed until the slightly waning full moon rose from the ocean and just after midnight headed back to the rooms. Tomorrow is Wet N Wild with an early departure from the pier.
